Discover Diplomacy

Discover Diplomacy is a set of diplomatic simulations for use in classrooms developed for the United States Diplomacy Center. Students who take part in the simulations get to experience how diplomacy works and what it means to understand someone else’s point of view. The goal is for participants to work together, as opposing countries with competing interests, to negotiate common ground, and propose solutions. The eight simulations cover topics ranging from migration and wildlife trafficking, to HIV/AIDS relief and nuclear crisis. They each include teacher and student packets, name tags, stakeholder fact sheets, and tent cards, and are supported with instructional videos and a teachers guide.
