R2 Studios

R2 Studios, RRCHNM’s podcast studio founded in 2021, creates engaging, deeply researched historical podcasts for people who enjoy exploring stories from the past. Our narrative-driven shows help listeners understand history is a process of evaluating and interpreting sources from many perspectives. R2 Studios explores histories through perspectives that have been traditionally left out of the main narrative. By working with the communities whose history we are sharing, we help listeners make personal connections to the past and understand the impact history has on life today. R2 Studios’ premiere show was Consolation Prize, a world history podcast about the American diplomatic service. Currently, R2 is producing The Green Tunnel, an environmental history podcast about the Appalachian Trail. Several exciting new shows are also in pre-production.
